Notes and Updates

- Head coach Brian Billick is optimistic for Ray Lewis to start this week against the Steelers

- His back-up Mike Smith was moved to Injured Reserve

- B.J. Sams is ranked 5th in the NFL in returns but still has no TD's, I guess we'll have to settle for all those yards

- Baltimore's Defense
  • Ranked #2 in the NFL behind only Chicago (Cincinatti is last)
  • Has only recieved 49 penalties totaling 381 yards, the fewest in the NFL
  • Only allows an average of 14.9 first downs per game, the second fewest in the NFL

Some food for thought.

- Steelers haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher since last Thanksgiving (James/Colts)

- McNair is 10-4 vs. the Steelers lifetime, but the Steelers hold a 13-7 record against the Ravens.

I am suprised about the penalties. Does that count Rolle's no touch pass interference on Sunday?
